In this version, the following was released:
- Comments on calendar posts: Anyone with can now exchange messages directly on a post, making approvals and feedback easier without leaving the conversation.
- Horizontal videos on YouTube: You can now schedule horizontal (16:9) videos for YouTube, not just vertical Shorts, with a duration of up to 1 hour and a custom thumbnail of your choice.
- Email notifications for failed posts: You can now get an email whenever a scheduled post fails to publish, so you can react faster.
- Email notifications for internal approvals: You can now turn on email notifications whenever content is sent for your team's internal approval.
- List insight metrics via MCP: The MCP server now exposes a tool to list which insight metrics are available.
- Generate images from a prompt via API/MCP: Andie can now generate images from a text prompt through the public API and the MCP server.
- Add competitor profiles via API/MCP: Competitor profiles can now be added to Insights directly through the API or the MCP server.
- Andie respects the right image proportions: Images generated by Andie now always match the correct format for their placement (feed, stories, etc.), avoiding cropping or distortion.
- Andie asks before acting: By default, Andie now asks for confirmation before taking an action instead of acting automatically.
- Clearer error messages: Several errors across the platform now come with clearer messages, making it easier to understand what happened and how to fix it.
- X (Twitter) publishing now requires the paid add-on: Publishing to X is no longer available on the free tier of that network; it now requires the corresponding paid add-on.
- New accounts start on the latest version by default: Accounts created from August 1st, 2026 onward start automatically on the newest version of Swonkie. Existing accounts can still switch in Settings.
- Andie's date validation: Fixed a bug where Andie could accept invalid dates or reject valid ones when creating content.
- Missing channels and profile groups: Fixed an issue where some channels and profile groups weren't showing correctly when filtering the calendar or creating a post.
- Cancelling scheduled posts: Fixed a bug that prevented cancelling a scheduled post up until the last minute before its publish time.
- Workspace switching: Fixed an error that froze the page when switching workspaces and navigating the platform.
- Facebook Insights post count: Fixed the number of posts shown per content format in Facebook Insights.
- Duplicating posts: Fixed a bug that kicked you out of edit mode when selecting new profiles after duplicating a post.
- Connecting Instagram profiles: Fixed an issue that prevented connecting Instagram profiles in some cases.
- Connecting profiles on small screens: Fixed an issue preventing profile connection from working correctly on smaller screens.
- "Start over" onboarding step: Fixed the "start over" step, which was redirecting to the wrong place.
- Posts sent for internal approval: Fixed a bug where posts without a scheduled date disappeared after being sent for the team's internal approval.
- LinkedIn Insights thumbnails: Fixed a bug that prevented preview thumbnails from showing on the top-performing posts widget.
- Customizing content per network: Fixed an error that prevented saving a post after customizing its photo or video for a specific network.
- False Facebook error alerts: Fixed recurring false permission error alerts for Facebook profiles with collaborative posts.
- Touchscreen devices: Fixed a bug that blocked typing captions on computers with a touchscreen.
- Publishing to X (Twitter): Fixed an error that caused posts to X to fail.
- Calendar layout: Fixed a visual bug that made calendar day columns very wide in months with unwritten drafts only.
- Billing access on inactive accounts: Fixed an error that prevented adding or editing billing details on accounts with an inactive subscription.
